"Sissy" Is Better...Grace is Hospitalized

Our 8-month old granddaughter Grace in a recent studio photograph. Does she have her Grandpa's poise, or not? Notwithstanding the good looks. heheee...

I appreciate all of the the kind emails and prayers for my sister Joan, whose surgery I spoke about in yesterday's BLOG. Prayer works, as I talked to her a little while ago and she is doing much better. Yesterday's procedure went well, and she should be home in time to watch her NASCAR races this weekend.

On the other hand, our granddaughter "Gracie," was admitted to the hospital last evening with some pulmonary difficulties and an ear infection. I don't think it real serious at this time, however with babies her age you have to be careful. I ask that you continue to remember my family in your prayers. You folks are the best!

For my fellow country fans, I have some tickets for Doug Stone tomorrow night. He had a number of hits during the mid and late 1990s. He's the kind of old-school country sound that I love. So it's time to dust off the cowboy hat and boots, and hit The Club Casino with Jack Daniels and friends once again.

On another entertainment note, tickets go on sale Saturday for Kenny Chesney, with Gretchen Wilson and Uncle Kracker. They will be at The Mississippi Coast Coliseum down the road in Biloxi, on April 28th. I would really like to see this one. Maybe I'll make it a birthday present to myself. It's going to sell out in minutes. I usually don't pull strings with my connections at the arenas, but I just might have to make an exception in this case.

Have a great day, friends!
