Remembering Brother Bubba

It's 4:30 am, on Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Two years ago at this very moment Our Dear Lord took my little brother Harry Webster Moody III "Bubba" home to be with him for eternity. He had a long battle with lung and brain cancer, and although a link in our family chain was broken that morning, we know the chain will be linked together again when we are all called together one day one-by-one. We miss you "Burger-relly," but we find comfort that you are not suffering anymore. Two years... I could sware it's been ten. It got down in the low 30's this morning, and my pilot light on our heater won't come on... if Bubba was here he would have it fixed in a couple of minutes.

We could have missed the pain... but we would have missed the dance.

Be Blessed...

No words are necessary...

Like many of you I get tons of emails, you know what I mean... forwarding of jokes, videos, cute pictures, etc. I just received this one from a dear friend and had to share it with you all right away.

When we fall... we must pick it up and keep going. There is no other choice...

Have a wonderful Sunday, what's left of it.

TIDE STILL ROLLING ON

Alabama relied on a stifling defensive effort and a pounding running game against Tennessee last night, scoring 26 consecutive points in a 29-9 win over the Vols at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville. The win takes Alabama to 8-0 overall, 5-0 in the Southeastern Conference on the season. Tennessee drops to 3-5 overall, 1-4 in conference play. Alabama has won two in a row against Tennessee for the first time since 1991-92, and three out of its last four.

Just think if I had closed my BLOG yesterday after my 500th post...
I couldn't brag about THE CRIMSON TIDE online today. LOL

Be Blessed.

MY 500th POST -

Can you believe it?
This is my 500th post here!
What can I say...
Except THE ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE will take to the field this evening against Tennessee.
I was part of a great indy event last evening in Loxley, Alabama.
This is the first Saturday I have had off in quite sometime, but I had better shut my mouth or that could end with just a phone call.
I have been so bored that I frequented a local indy 'rasslin message board (you regulars here know how much I hate those) in an effort to flush out a couple of trouble makers. I know who they are but I need a bit more proof, and it didn't take too long for me to get it.
Believe it or not, I have seriously considered shutting down or suspending my BLOG, but I have received some emails this week that make it hard to close this place right now.
An average of 2000 folks a day still visit my old worn out website (like me), and even though I don't have an opportunity to post as much as I would like, I find it hard to shut the door right now.
Have a great evening my friends.
Be Blessed.

My old friend and a PB/UT supporter from the beginning, Megan, sent this fine work of art of yours truly. Bless her heart... she had to be drinking! LOL
I just finished my old friend Bret Hart's new book. Up to now I always said Mick Foley's first was the best in the genre. Without a doubt, Bret did a fabulous job and I enjoyed it from cover to cover. Check it out if you have a chance.

WELL...WELL...WELL...
Words are not necessary here. After such suffering us BAMA fans have endured the past 6-years..... ahhhhhhh....if feels so good!

Can you believe this is post 499?
Be Blessed.

OCTOBER - Breast Cancer Awareness

Remember my friends, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You all know this subject is very close to my heart as my wife Dianna is a two time breast cancer survivor. It can happen to anybody!
Be Blessed.
