Welcome to my official BLOG at PercyPringle.Com, where I will keep you posted on my current activities, future plans, ramblings, rants, and just plain stuff. As always, I encourage emails with your questions, comments, and suggestions, at: PercyPringle3@PercyPringle.Com

God Bless.
Once again my heartfelt appreciation to those of you that have continued to remember me and my family during our difficult days. Your emails and prayers mean more to us than you will ever realize.
We met with Dianna's surgeon on Monday, she is healing well, and the pathology report from her surgery indicates that no other cancer cells were found. We pray that this means no chemo and/or radiation will be required this time. We will know for sure when we meet with her cancer doctor in a couple of weeks.
"The Possum" George Jones was in town this past Saturday night. Dianna insisted that I go alone, and that I did. It was great seeing the "Jones Gang" again, their friendship and hospitality are always off the charts with me. It was the first time Jones has played Mobile in over 20 years. We usually see him in nearby Biloxi or Pensacola. He is 75 now and still going strong!
WWE returns to the area in January with events set for Mobile and Biloxi. What a good way to start out the the New Year, visiting with my extended WWE Family.
Dianna and I will celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary on December 22nd.
Take care my friends.

My heart is heavy again this evening after learning that my friend Roddy Piper has been diagnosed with cancer. "Hot Rod" will certainly be added to my prayer list, as he prepares to fight the biggest battle of his life.

The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz, the creator of the "Peanuts" comic strip. You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just read the words through, and you'll get the point.
We were at an event last evening (Friday 9/15) and received a call that Rick Gibson was just found dead at his home near Pensacola, Florida. Rick was the older brother of "Rock and Roll Express" Robert Gibson. We've known Rick and Robert and their families for many years. Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to them.
My dear friend James E. Cornette will celebrate a birthday tomorrow, Sunday September 17th. My best to one of the top managers in our industry! We love 'ya Jimmy!

Chris Von Erich died on September 12, 1991. I was proud to perform with him all over the State of Texas just two short years before. The photo above was taken at The World Famous Sportatorium in Dallas during one of his first professional matches. He was a good kid, with a heart as big as Texas' itself.
The greatest country singer of all time "The Possum" George Jones was born on September 12th.
Take care...

HAPPY LABOR DAY MY FRIENDS!
A good Sunday morning to you all.
Any of you old of enough to remember can probably recall where you were when you heard the news on this date in 1977. The day Elvis Presley died. I was one year fresh out of the Air Force and was serving my first apprenticeship as a Funeral Director. I was listening to the radio at the funeral home when learned of his passing. About two weeks after his funeral I was in Memphis doing Jarrett's TV show, and visited the mausoleum where they kept his body until they moved him to Graceland. There were still hundreds of floral tributes lining the roadways to his grave.
I had a blast opening the WWE SMACKDOWN event here in my hometown last night. It was great seeing so many old friends!
Speaking of old friends, that will be the case this weekend in Rockville, MD just outside of Washington, DC. I will be appearing on Saturday afternoon, please stop by and say "Howdy!"
Have a great week, my friends.

Of course the photo above was taken 4-5 years ago, but the headline is the same. WWE SMACKDOWN is in Mobile tonight, and I'm looking forward to visiting with my old friends at The Mitchell Center. If you live in the area, I'll see you there!
Five years ago today, my wife Dianna was wheeled into an operating room to have her right breast removed. I would never wish that experience on anybody. PLEASE Ladies get your annual mammograms, and do your personal monthly checks! PLEASE Gentlemen, don't be afraid to remind them! Cancer can be cured if detected early. Dianna is cancer free today. Praise The Lord!
Take care friends.

The photo above shows Granddaughter Grace, opening one of her gifts during her 2nd birthday party this past week. That's her Mom Beth, giving her a helping hand; and Great-Grandmother Moody looking on in the background.
Tomorrow is Granddaughter Grace's 2nd birthday. The photo above is her "official" birthday photograph. She's is getting a day off from daycare tomorrow and gets to spend the day with me and Grandma Pringle. Do you think we will spoil her? No way! right...
Then on Friday, our oldest Son Michael will be 27 years old. That's him in the picture above with his wife Beth. He doesn't look like a Pringle does he? Now maybe if he had some of his daddy's hair. hehee....
On Saturday, I will be spending the afternoon with The United States Air Force. I will be making appearances at the base commissaries of Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field, in the Florida panhandle. if you live in the area come out and say "howdy!" I was in The Air Force from 1972 - 1976, and I am really looking forward to meeting the troops.
Take care, my friends.

A long week indeed, as my little brother Harry "Bubba" spends his third week in the hospital. The photo above shows the young Moody Brothers sitting high above the moon. Below, "Bubba" carves the turkey at one our Family gatherings.
Frequent visitors here are aware of "Bubba's" valiant fight with cancer. I continue to receive encouraging emails and prayers each and every day; for that our Family thanks you again. It seems each time his physicians resolve one issue, another pops up. He is having a very hard time right now, but our faith remains strong as our Dear Lord keeps him in the palms of his healing hands.
Then on Sunday, July 9th, I promoted my GULF SOUTH WRESTLING event here in Mobile. The photo above shows "Percy The Promoter" telling my wayward cousin "Marvelous" Marcel Pringle that he had to ride the mechanical bull after losing a match with The Armstrong Family. We had a fabulous event, that was well attended by several hundred fans. You can click on the blue hyperlink above, and check out some more great photos and details from the show.
Wednesday July 12th, was a sad day as I remebered my friend Jimmy Miranda. Jimmy handled "live event" merchandising for WWF/WWE for many years. He passed away on July 12, 2002. I snapped the picture above in one of the dressing rooms as Jimmy, Kane, and Gold Dust did a bit of horsing around. Gosh... I miss those days.
Yesterday July 14th, was my friend Jeff Jarrett's birthday. I've known Jeff for so many years, and I am so proud of what he is doing these days.
On another sad note, tomorrow July 16th will mark the anniversary of the deaths of two more dear friends. Bruiser Brody (above) and Terry "Bam-Bam" Gordy (below) died on July 16th. Bruiser in 1988, and Terry in 2001.
I wish you all a very good weekend!
Then on Sunday my GULF SOUTH WRESTLING organization will return to action here in Mobile.
Take care, my friends!
