The first official Mobile Mardi Gras Parade of 2011 is on Friday night, February 18th. However, on Saturday night, February 19th, I am honored to be The Grand Marshall of The Order Of Pharaohs Parade.
If you live in the Mobile area, the parade will begin at 6:30 pm, Friday evening, following Route A; followed by their private ball of which I will be the Master of ceremonies. This will be The Pharaohs 26th year of existance, as they were formed in 1985. Long time followers of my BLOG know that my family, close friends, and myself enjoy the parades each and every year. In fact this will not be my first time serving as a Grand Marshall. I had the honor about ten or so years ago as you can see in the photo below. I am really excited about doing it again.
