Welcome to my official BLOG at PercyPringle.Com, where I will keep you posted on my current activities, future plans, ramblings, rants, and just plain stuff. As always, I encourage emails with your questions, comments, and suggestions, at: PercyPringle3@PercyPringle.Com
WWF/WWE Legend Arnold "Golden Boy" Skaaland had died. What a class act "Arnie" was. He was always around during my years with the company. However, I know his health recently took a turn for the worse. He was a cornerstone of McMahon Inc. Unfortunately, many of the younger fans and indy wrestlers as well, don't even know who "Annie" is. Use GOOGLE, and sit under the learning tree.
Ring Legend Ernie "The Cat" Ladd passed away during the night last evening. "The Cat" battled cancer for a number of years. Although I followed Ernie's career since I was a teenager, I first met him early on in my WWF years in the Dallas Airport. He came up behind me and I kept hearing... "Percy Pringle... Percy Pringle... Percy Pringle..." I turned around looked up and there he stood. We talked for a long time and have been friends ever since. He was a regular at our Gulf Coast Wrestlers Reunion. In fact, the photo below was taken at our Mobile Reunion in 2005. May he rest in peace in the arms of our Saving Lord. Our thoughts and prayers go our to his wonderful family.
Hello my friends,
The 16th Annual GULF COAST WRESTLERS REUNION came to an end late yesterday (Saturday) afternoon, marking yet another successful history making professional gathering. "Kayfabe" still lives at our annual reunion, and I make it a habit of never releasing any details about who was there, or our activities. It is not a fanfest, and as a member of the board of directors I do what I can to continue the tradition of our private event. However, I will write briefly about one award, that being The Horizon Award.
The Reunion set a new record Friday night, in the fact that we had more in attendance than all of the past 15 Friday night events. Ring legends were every where. I wish every man had the opportunity to rub shoulders with his heroes that are now his friends, that describes my position within the GCWR. I can't wait until next year!
