RIP "Uncle Donald"
The Legendary Spoiler, Don Jardine has died.
I managed Don in 1978, early on in my career as PP3. I was wearing the mask because I had my head shaved after one of my Mongolians lost an AWA Title match with Nick Bockwinkle. Don was truly an icon in our industry, and we became close while I was working In World Class in Texas. May He Rest In Peace.
God Bless.

A few notes for my friends...
Once again my heartfelt appreciation to those of you that have continued to remember me and my family during our difficult days. Your emails and prayers mean more to us than you will ever realize.
We met with Dianna's surgeon on Monday, she is healing well, and the pathology report from her surgery indicates that no other cancer cells were found. We pray that this means no chemo and/or radiation will be required this time. We will know for sure when we meet with her cancer doctor in a couple of weeks.
"The Possum" George Jones was in town this past Saturday night. Dianna insisted that I go alone, and that I did. It was great seeing the "Jones Gang" again, their friendship and hospitality are always off the charts with me. It was the first time Jones has played Mobile in over 20 years. We usually see him in nearby Biloxi or Pensacola. He is 75 now and still going strong!
WWE returns to the area in January with events set for Mobile and Biloxi. What a good way to start out the the New Year, visiting with my extended WWE Family.
Dianna and I will celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary on December 22nd.
Take care my friends.

The Beast That Will Not Go Away...
Tomorrow marks the one month anniversary of the death of my brother "Bubba." His life was stolen away by brain and lung cancer. My wife Dianna begins her pre-op tests tomorrow in preparation for her second fight with breast cancer. She is scheduled for surgery on December 4th. My mom is recovering from recent skin cancer surgery. Cancer is no doubt a beast that that will not go away.
On a happier note, this past Saturday November 25th, marked the third anniversary of my gastric bypass surgery. I lost 240 pounds. There is a God.
Once again, I want to thank all of your for your continued support. Even though my updates are few and far between, I am flabbergasted that several thousand of you from around the world still come here on a daily basis. I appreciate that more than you will ever realize.
God Bless.

Crosses to bear... friends...
We all have our crosses to bear. It wouldn't do me any good to whine about our problems here. I just want you to know that there' a lot happening in our lives right now, and my time is very limited these days. I don't update here as much as I would like too. I just want you know that I will always consider you all to be my extended family and friends...
The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz, the creator of the "Peanuts" comic strip. You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just read the words through, and you'll get the point.
1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winner for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.
How did you do?
The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners . Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:
1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.
Easier?
The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones that care.
God Bless my family and friends this beautiful October 1st.

Sunday morning coming down...
In the midst of the threat of the the first hurricane of the season, and remembering Katrina that devastated the Gulf Coast one year ago; I would like to respond to many emails from you folks with your concerns about Dianna.
I went with her to the hospital on Friday for a biopsy. Unfortunately, the area of concern couldn't be reached through the "normal" needle biopsy. She must go through a minimum invasive surgical procedure soon, to obtain the biopsy. Chances are that it is not cancer, but the possibilities cannot be ruled out considering her past history. We ask that you continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We will let you know something as soon as we can.
Brother Harry "Bubba" continues to be doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances. His strong will power, faith and positive attitude keeps the Moody Family's wagons in a tight circle these days.
I began a new challenging endeavor about a month ago. Many of you know that I have been working back in the funeral industry pretty much full time this year. Early on in my mortuary career I always thought how great it would be to find a Funeral Director who had an established buisness, who wanted to step back, and was looking for someone to take over for him. I met a gentleman who operated an established cemetery, and recently built a brand new funeral home on the property. He was looking for a Funeral Director to manage the facility for him. Just the opportunity I was looking for. So... I have been busy getting things in order, and our doors will be open very soon. Needless to say, notwithstanding our family's health issues, I have been extremely busy, thus the lack of updates around here these days.
My Gulf South Wrestling organization is also doing well. We have two events scheduled in September, that takes up what little bit of free time I do have. Believe me, I am not complaining, it's all a good thing.
I was just watching the news coverage of the commuter plane crash in Lexington, Kentucky. Having been in the area many times through the years, even flying out of that very airport, my thoughts and prayers are with the familes and friends of the crew and passengers.
Have a great week, my friends!
God Bless.

Frightening Deja Vu...
Well... today Dianna had her yearly mammogram and we are very concerned about the results. Her physician found a suspicious spot on the x-ray and a needle biopsy is the next step. Please keep her in your prayers. This just can't be happening to us again!
Notwithstanding, brother "bubba's" continuing fight with the dreaded desease.
I have always considered all of you that visit here regularly a part of my extended family.
I apreciate you all!
God Bless.

Catching up...
Speaking of funeral homes, I recently made a change and I am now managing Funeral Director at a brand new facility. I have been busy geeting things ready to serve our first family. We should be open by this time next week.
Many of you have asked about my weekend at THE CAPITOL LEGENDS CONVENTION. I wish I had the time to tell you all about it. It was simply fantastic! I had more fun than the fans who paid to attend. I visited with many old friends that I haven't seen in such a very long time, especially Bret Hart. There's nothing like old friends.
Have a great week.
God Bless.

ATTENTION Ladies and their Gentlemen...
Five years ago today, my wife Dianna was wheeled into an operating room to have her right breast removed. I would never wish that experience on anybody. PLEASE Ladies get your annual mammograms, and do your personal monthly checks! PLEASE Gentlemen, don't be afraid to remind them! Cancer can be cured if detected early. Dianna is cancer free today. Praise The Lord!
Take care friends.

A 3 Birthday Week and more...
Tomorrow is Granddaughter Grace's 2nd birthday. The photo above is her "official" birthday photograph. She's is getting a day off from daycare tomorrow and gets to spend the day with me and Grandma Pringle. Do you think we will spoil her? No way! right...
Then on Friday, our oldest Son Michael will be 27 years old. That's him in the picture above with his wife Beth. He doesn't look like a Pringle does he? Now maybe if he had some of his daddy's hair. hehee....
On Saturday, I will be spending the afternoon with The United States Air Force. I will be making appearances at the base commissaries of Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field, in the Florida panhandle. if you live in the area come out and say "howdy!" I was in The Air Force from 1972 - 1976, and I am really looking forward to meeting the troops.
Take care, my friends.

It's been a very long week...
Frequent visitors here are aware of "Bubba's" valiant fight with cancer. I continue to receive encouraging emails and prayers each and every day; for that our Family thanks you again. It seems each time his physicians resolve one issue, another pops up. He is having a very hard time right now, but our faith remains strong as our Dear Lord keeps him in the palms of his healing hands.
Last Friday night, July 7th, I enjoyed participating in a great wrestling "Night of Legends" event in Batesville, Mississippi; promoted by All Pro Championship Wrestling. I got to manage my 'ol friend Kamala against Mr. Hughes, and also manage a team against Jerry Lawler and Brian Christopher. Also on the card were Don Bass, Dusty Wolfe, Porkchop Cash, Peggy Lee Leather, Bambi, Tommy Rich, Bill Dundee, Doug Gilbert, Robert Gibson, Brickhouse Brown, Jimmy Valiant, and so many more.
Then on Sunday, July 9th, I promoted my GULF SOUTH WRESTLING event here in Mobile. The photo above shows "Percy The Promoter" telling my wayward cousin "Marvelous" Marcel Pringle that he had to ride the mechanical bull after losing a match with The Armstrong Family. We had a fabulous event, that was well attended by several hundred fans. You can click on the blue hyperlink above, and check out some more great photos and details from the show.
Wednesday July 12th, was a sad day as I remebered my friend Jimmy Miranda. Jimmy handled "live event" merchandising for WWF/WWE for many years. He passed away on July 12, 2002. I snapped the picture above in one of the dressing rooms as Jimmy, Kane, and Gold Dust did a bit of horsing around. Gosh... I miss those days.
Yesterday July 14th, was my friend Jeff Jarrett's birthday. I've known Jeff for so many years, and I am so proud of what he is doing these days.
On another sad note, tomorrow July 16th will mark the anniversary of the deaths of two more dear friends. Bruiser Brody (above) and Terry "Bam-Bam" Gordy (below) died on July 16th. Bruiser in 1988, and Terry in 2001.
I wish you all a very good weekend!
God Bless!
